Activities: Interests include brewing (come over I'll pour you a pint), garb, illumination, calligraphy, archery, period (but practical) encampments, Mongolian and central Asian history, Autocrating and organization.
Persona: Batujin Nasan (of loyal life) was born into the turbulent days of the greatest khan that was ever known to the Mongol people Timujin, but better known to the world as Genghis Khan. Batujin Nasan married a well placed officer within the Khan's army, but was soon widowed when her husband was killed in battle.

in Andalusia. aka 14th century French merchant. Born
in southern France, educated in a monastery, left
before taking vows, took up the trade of his father
who was a merchant. Being a purveyor and dealer in
fine horse flesh, was adopted by the middle eastern
community and given the name Bilgisayar, because he
counted things.

Persona: Bjorn was the second son of a local warrior who met and fell in love with a girl brought back from Scotland. He married before his brother, causing some strife in the family. Bjorn and Temair fled Sweden and relocated to Nosgorov, where he became a merchant to support his wife and three young daughters.

Activities: I am a member of the Dabblers Guild – which means I try anything new at least once.
On a regular basis I make garb, bobbin lace, embroider, nailbind, make netting, make candles, and experiment.
I am an Archery Marshal and have a permanent range in my back yard. I love to teach!
Persona: I have been researching in several areas for my persona, and so have wandered a bit.
I am an Irish woman of the late 1400’s from Wicklow, living with my
Scottish cousins in Lochleven Scotland. My interest in lace has taken
me on a number of travels to Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium,
and even England. It is my hope to bring a bit of refinement to these
northern highlands. My dress (literally traced from my ancestors – an
old dress just becomes a pattern), is a mix of the cultures that have
woven themselves into my homeland. I enjoy breaking the sumptuary laws
regularly by wearing braids, curls, ribbons and decorations in my
hair, using excess cloth in my chemises and, even though I look poorly
in yellow, wearing saffron because it is denied to my people. In my
travels I have met with some very interesting southern people who have
taught me a new way of dancing and dressing for the unreasonably hot
weather we have; they are in general refereed to as “Middle Eastern”
here.

Persona: The Catapharact Dio of Sebastia (known to his companions as D. Sebastian) shifted in his saddle, looked past the helmeted Strategos and his mighty glaive, and scanned the horizon beyond. The enemy's heavy cavalry was rallying, soon they would charge. That meant only one thing...
The Byzantine Strategos turned and smiled a genuinely gleeful grin at his Tagama Army. With that grin, all, including D. Sebastian, understood that they would soon meet the enemy in a counter-charge. D. Sebastian's officer leaned over quietly and smiling, issued a single order: "Don't get dead".
Born in the City of Sebastia in Asia Minor, Diomedes had answered the call to fight in the on-again off-again wars that plagued the lands of the Byzantine Empire. Impressing an officer of the Strategos' bucellarii, he now found himself amongst their ranks and about to be thrust into harms way. He joined the rest of the grinning bucellarii with his own smile. "Don't get dead" he mused, "words to live by."
